Founder & Managing Partner
João holds an MSc from PUC-Rio and a PhD from TU-München (Germany) in physics-based computational simulations of fluid flows with a post-doc in the same topic at PUC-Rio.
He has over 15 years experience leading and executing R&D and consultancy projects in Oil & Gas production, flow assurance and related topics and has specialized over the past years in hybrid AI solutions which led to the foundation of HAI.
João has been the Technical Lead and Manager of Flow Technology for SINTEF in Brazil and is currently also the Chief Scientist and Managing Partner at ISDB FlowTech (previously SINTEF-Brazil).
Co-founder & International Partner
Erik has worked with international business development for the last 20 years and has developed 200+ strategy internationalization projects over this time.
Before co-founding M&O, where he is currently Managing Partner, Erik headed Innovation Norway’s activities in Latin America, out of the regional headquarters in Rio de Janeiro.
Erik is specialized in international business development, with in-depth knowledge and focus on the oil, maritime and offshore sectors.
Partner & CIO
David holds an MBA in business management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV/RJ) and Business Intelligence specialist degree from Pontifícia Universidade Católica (PUC/RJ).
He has extensive experience in information technology of diverse industries as mining, logistics, retail, energy and Oil & Gas.
He has taken leadership of several multidisciplinary teams of IT projects involving IT infrastructure, telecommunications, software development/integration, Enterprise Architecture and Business Intelligence.
Partner & AI Lead
Matheus has a degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering from UFRJ.
He has worked on a variety of projects related to software development of different products at ISDB FlowTech, as well as in the conceptualization, implementation and management of hybrid AI solutions at HAI.
He has a Master’s degree from the Systems and Computer Engineering Program of UFRJ on data processing for Physics Informed Neural Networks (PINNs).
Data Scientist
Rodrigo has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from PUC-Rio. He also holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from PUC-Rio, on multiphase flows and numerical simulations.
He has experience in computational fluid dynamics (CFD), multiphase flows and flow assurance simulations.
He currently works as a Data Scientist combining physics-based and machine learning approaches.
Data Engineer
Felipe has a degree in Environmental and Water Resources Engineering from
UFRJ.
He has worked on hydrodynamics modeling with the finite element
method for ocean and naval engineering at COPPE.
He has experience
building Big Data systems, integrating data lakes/warehouses and apps using a
set of open-source tools such as MinIO, Apache Spark and Trino. He is pursuing
his master's degree in the Systems and Computer Engineering Program at UFRJ
specializing in Computer Architecture for optimizing ML.
Full Stack Developer
José holds a B.Sc. in Mechatronics Engineering from UNI, Peru. In 2011, obtained his M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from PUC-Rio. In 2017, started the D.Sc. program in Mechanical Engineering from PUC-Rio, and obtained his degree in 2021. He also holds an MBA in Project Management from IAG PUC-Rio School of Business.
Experience in different research projects, including the following areas: flow assurance, enhanced oil recovery – mathematical modeling and numerical simulation.
Currently, focus on developing web applications at HAI.
Full Stack Developer
Diogo is an Informatics Technician by training and has a bachelor´s degree in Information Systems at Universidade Estácio de Sá.
Wide experience in web development using JavaScript with React, Python with Django and PHP with Laravel.
Has a solid background in system modeling with UML, versioning with Git and MySQL and PostGRES databases.
He is currently acting as a Full Stack Developer at HAI.
Full Stack Developer
Aline is a Systems Analyst with 5 years of experience in technology.
She works as a Full Stack Developer, proficient in backend languages
such as Java and Python, and frontend languages like TypeScript, JavaScript, and
React, continually improving the skills to apply more responsive and agile
methods in applications.
Scientific Developer
Matheus has a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from UTFPR, where his research focused on thermodynamical characterization of CO2 rich mixtures.
Presently, he works as a scientific developer, contributing to Hydrid AI projects related to thermodynamic modeling and PVT data analysis.
In addition, he is pursuing a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at NUEM/UTFPR. His research is centered on the influence of gas phase density on the transition between slug and stratified flow patterns.
